Jim Joe must be one of the busiest people in New York City. During my recent week long trip to the city I couldn’t seem to walk anywhere without seeing his name scribbled across something.

Yes, in the past I’ve seen lots of his stuff around, but there’s something very peculiar about the way Jim Joe does what he does. There are variations on how he writes his name and I’m starting to think he works within one variation at a time. What do I mean exactly? Well you’ll notice some writings are cursive, some have lowercase letters, some are italic, and some have their o’s dotted. Since my last time in the city, back in March, it seems that Jim Joe has gone in a new direction. Look closely and you’ll notice the o’s all have a line through them and the E’s are double stacked. Every new piece I saw was done in this newest direction.
