I never seem to find myself in Brooklyn during the time of the infamous Red Hook Crit, but during my last visit I did find myself in the RHC store/office. After poking around, and trying hard to limit the goodies I bought I was handed a set of these awesome socks.

Behind the Houston Mural

Whether you like it or not, the mural on East Houston Street certainly draws a lot of attention. Having witnessed it’s various incarnations throughout 2010, I was never super excited about the images created on the wall, but did enjoy seeing work on such a huge scale in a great space where you could actually step back and enjoy it.
