Whether you like it or not, the mural on East Houston Street certainly draws a lot of attention. Having witnessed it’s various incarnations throughout 2010, I was never super excited about the images created on the wall, but did enjoy seeing work on such a huge scale in a great space where you could actually step back and enjoy it.

Ever since the last post about Alec I’ve really been on the hunt for new and interesting street art to document. It really is unbelievable how much stuff is crammed into what is technically a pretty small part of the city. Since my original post on Alec I’ve spotted two more pieces from him, which are also located in SoHo.

Getting around New York City by bike can be incredibly fast if you’re just willing to take a few risks. But as you zip along to your destination you’ll be focused directly on the traffic around you, the pedestrians popping out of everywhere and (my least favorite) the terrible road conditions.
